Seaport of Jakarta

The Port of Jakarta, with a code of IDJKT, is a facility situated in Indonesia and is the biggest container terminal in the country. It functions as part of the Port of Tanjung Priok, an Indonesian seaport that handles 50% of transshipment cargo traffic in all of Indonesia. The container port of Jakarta is currently called the International Container Terminal in Jakarta. It is managed by Hutchison Port Holding and PT Pelindo II. In 2011, the port received the Asian Freight and Supply Chain Award (AFSCA) for providing the best quality services and using modern technology. The principal port of Tanjung Priok has 20 various terminals, including those for handling of containers, less-than-container loads, dry and liquid bulk goods, chemicals, and also an oil terminal or a passenger terminal. The wharf at the Port of Tanjung Priok has 16,853 meters, while the total surface area for cargo storage is 661,822 m2, with a storage capacity of 401,468 tons.
