Detamachi is also known as the “banana pier” because it accepts fresh vegetables and fruit. The Daikoku Pier is located on an artificial island 321 hectares in size. There are warehouses here with a total surface area of one million m2. The Mizuho Pier has 7 berths. It is used by the American forces stationed in Japan.
